KL Trip 08 ( Day 4 )

14th November ( Friday , Day 4 )

today was the last day of our trip
we woke up at 11
then we followed ben's dad to his office around 12
when we reached his office , we waited for some of his friends to come
then we headed to Petaling Street was very close by for lunch

after lunch we went back to ben's office
we read some newspapers then we headed back to Petaling Street
over there , i bought a dark green , quicksilver hoodie
it was from rm45 to rm29
lol
then we went to Starbucks
i am never going to buy ANYTHING from Starbucks again =.=
just 3 drinks and it costed rm41

at around 3 , we went to mydin which was just across the road
we went there just to buy Cheesels
haha
after eating the cheesels we went back to the Maybank building
did i mention how tall that building was??
maybe can be taller then the twin towers
there was around 30 minutes more till ben's dad finish his work
so we spend our time at the coin museum
there were coins dated back till 1629

we left the place at around 4.45 p.m
then ben asked us if we wanted to sleepover at his house for 1 night
so vishnu and i agreed
we went to ss14 1st to pick up victor from his babysitter's house
then we went to eat at the kopitiam shop near the ss14 road

the dinner was interesting and funny at the same time
why i say this is because victor and his dad were talking about topics related to religion
so first they were talking about Jesus
then go to prophet Muhammad
so got LOTS and LOTS of fights , cutting each other's sentences
and they continued their fight in the car
the fight finally finished after almost an hour

after we showered and everything
we watched

after that we watched MTV asia awards ( i think )
which lasted like 2 hours
then we watched

.
.
and immediately after that ,

i finally watched the movie
it was dam dirty
i'm 100% sure that kar sing would 100% love this movie
apparently ben and vishu slept halfway

and ben is the worst host ever
he give me a mattress without the bed sheet
and he gave me a blanket which i can say IT WASN'T EVEN A BLANKET!!
cause it so thin that there was no point using it
so i partically freezed to death that night

KL Trip 08 ( Day 3 )

13th November ( Thursday , Day 3 )

woke up at 11
today it was only vishnu , ben and me
victor and ben's aunty went back to subang
ben's parents went to work

so we went to eat lunch at a kopitiam shop nearby
after eating we went to time square
so the plan was watch a movie and well...do nothing else after that =.=
at first we wanted to watch tropic thunder but couldn't watch since we weren't 18

so we watch madagascar 2 instead
wow...since when did malaysia's cinema was so strict

after buying the tickets ben keep saying
" the moment the guy saw vishnu he know we not 18 "
poor vishnu....haha
while waiting for time to pass by
we walked around time square in search of the arcade
when we found it our movie was about to start

after the movie we went to the arcade
we spent around 20 tokens for nearly 2 hours
it was 2 tokens for rm1
after the arcade we went back to our apartment and we played ping pong
we played ping pong for around 15 minutes then headed back to our room

around 5.30 , ben's dad asked us to get ready cause we were going to pick ben's mum up and go straight to dinner
dinner was guess where again???
izzi!!! or izzi's =.="

after eating dinner we went to pavilion to buy our ticket for yet ANOTHER MIDNIGHT MOVIE
we had lots of problem picking our movie
so in the end we watched

well we were quite worry because victor say it was VERY boring
after buying the tickets we went back to our apartment
since there was like 2 hours left , we decided to go to the internet cafe which is located nearby our apartment block
so the 1st one didn't let us in
the 2nd one was the funny one
well it was VERY empty and by the looks of the people there , i could tell they were police
so we asked the guy if they had dota
and the answer i expected was "no" but he gave a even MORE funny answer
"apa itu dota?"

HAHAHAHAHAHAHA
that is gonna be remembered for the rest of my life!!

so max payne wasn't that bad
but this is the kind of show you would'nt blast ur speakers with
and i don't know how , we the shotgun noise and blast everywhere , vishnu could sleep throught it

KL Trip 08 ( day 1&2 )

so...i've been spending the last 3 days and 2 nights in kl with vishnu , benjamin and his family
we went there on the 11th ( tuesday ) evening
so he picked me up at around 7.30

first we went to ben's house to change car
vios - mercedes
because we were gonna fit in FIVE people at the back of the car
cause we were gonna pick ben's aunt up
but well it was actually four at the back in the end
cause ben sat in front with is mum in the front seat ( VERY unbelievable )

every time i go to ben's house , there's ALWAYS additional things
this time it's just too much
now they have added THREE LCD TVS
1 in the parents room , 1 in his room , and 1 for the living room upstairs
and a new com
i don't know how new...maybe it was in victor's room ( ben's bro ) all the while

then we went to shell
and now come the drama part of the story
well you the james bond car shell is selling
well benjamin has collected ALL the past car...the 12 Ferraris
so ben and his mum bought 1 car a week before
so then he ask his dad to buy another car
than his dad say he already bought the WHOLE SET
( rich kid )
so his dead ask him to sell the car
then ben refuse to do so and from there on the fight kicked in

well you know normal children they hide their anger whenever their parents scold them and just shut up and listen
ben , on the other hand , just shouts at his parents
i really feel for his parents
so the rest of the day , me and vishnu kept reminding him of the incident saying
" you have to fight just for a rm5.50 car "
lol

so we ate dinner at a kopitiam shop
i'm surprise vishnu ate everything that was on the table
victor keep eating the beef satay in front of vishnu
so we reached our hotel at around 10.30 p.m
well actually it's an apartment / hotel
i don't really know how to explain it but it's an apartment and at the same time a hotel
urgg forget it :D

so i stayed up all night
yes i mean it , no sleep , playing ben's psp all night
cause there was FIFA 09!!!
oh yea i forgot one more thing before we all slept
vishnu broke a cup while washing it

12th November ( wednesday , Day 2 )

everyone woke up at 8
i didn't sleep at all
so vishnu ben and i went down for swimming at around 9
but the guards said 9.30 will the pool only open
so we played ping pong instead :D
then we went swimming

came back , got ready and went for lunch
we went to this famous chicken rice shop where the person who cuts the chicken has the gelaran "dato" given by the sultan himself ( i tink )
so vishu said
"the guy got his gelaran just by chopping chickens"
dam stupid la this vishnu =.="
well there was really nothing special about it , it was just...well...chicken rice

after lunch we went to times square!!
haven't been there for 2 years
there was this shop at a corner which name was
pao professor
steampao can work there as a pao professor
then we went to converse
well that's was the reason y we went to times square
cause ben wanted to buy a pair of shoes
and we spend like almost an hour there so i said to myself , ben shops like a girl :D

after what it seemed FOREVER
we finally left time square
and since we were walking for hours , everyone was very tired
so on the way back to our apartment ben's dad got a call and he was suppose to see his friend somewhere sungai way plaza and he gave a landmark which is Shakeys at the basement
so we went to the basement and no Shakeys
so we went inside parkson
and ben with his grouchy mood said
" he ( his dad ) expect shakeys to be inside parkson "
funny fella

so what did we do??
ben's parents were actually buying those type of jade stones
you those purple colour stones / jade / gem in a stone
man i'm confuse of the 3 above...haha
and we saw all the items in the shop - ouch!! the cheapest item we saw was like rm 300
everything was rm 3000 all above
all the accessories such as necklace , bracelet all cause around rm 1000

then victor "lecture" us about the coloured stone as he calls it
he talk like some professor in chemistry
then benjamin ask him how much he got for his chemistry exam - fail
hahaha
i 4got if it was chemistry , biology or physics
oh well i'll worry about this subjects in form 4....hehe
there was a body glove shop next door
so i bought a shirt for rm39
i regretted it

went back to the apartment after spending an hour at the shop
rested , shower and off to dinner
we ate at a italian restaurant with some asian food like mee goreng called izzi...or was it izzi's
what was special that there was a menu with all the food in it were all 75% discount
the original price of the pasta was like rm 24
the price we paid was rm 5
cool right??
so for a rm5 pasta it was great

so the bill was rm103 for 6 people
well it was better then rm412 for 6 people!!!
cause we ordered pizzas too
after dinner we went to pavilion to buy tickets cause we were planning to watch a MIDNIGHT MOVIE!!!
hey man....it's not everyday u can go for a midnight movie :D
so we were going to watch

BANGKOK DANGEROUS

it was a very nice movie
but nicolas cage is best off acting in National Treasure 3
i hope it does come out cause i'm a big fan of national treasure
it's a interesting way of learning history :P
ok i better stop talking about history cause it's holiday now!!

the show finished about 2.10 a.m
came back and slept :D

Awana Kijal / Kota Bahru Trip 08 ( day 5 , last ) / Olympic Closing Ceremony

Sunday
woke up at 8 and left the hotel at 9
went to my uncle's house to have my last nasi dagang T.T
i'll miss that food

so we left for home at 10
b4 we left town....i saw a few shops wit very interesting names
"mamak akmal"
"matthew so and co" i tink..
"amy's drinks"
^^

so we traveled for 130 km n reached a town called Gua Musang
it's a town not a cave =.=
over there i saw a shop called Restoran Keith
so i sms keith and then on kept smsing each other for a long time :P

so ate at KFC and left the town at 12

we used the cameron highland road which mean we were traveling on mountains
there was this white saga that followed us all the way till we reach the highway =.=
was very misty on the mountains ( me likey :P )
it's like driving without knowing where ur going....adventurest but may cost u your life
i TRIED to talk pictures of mother nature
was so green the place....the air was so cooling and fresh
had permission to lower the window :P
although my ears were full with pressure 10 minutes after i opened the window =.=

so after travelling around 4 hours we stopped at the tapah rest stop area
that was when i sms keith abt czt-ms ( our maple private server )
he said it's closing down on the 28th of august T.T
we ate at this cafe called "Tralala Cafe" =.=
stupidest name anybody could name their cafe

reached home at 7
toke a nice hot shower and dived to bed
woke up at 8 and watch the Closing Ceremony
it was awesome
except for the opera singing
IT MADE MY EARS 70% DEAF U NOE!!!!

when the chinese ppl handed the olympics flag to the mayor of london.... a red double-decker London bus entered the stadium....from the bus emerged Leona Lewis and Led Zeppelin guitarist Jimmy Page who performed zeppelin's "Whole Lotta Love"
den David Bechkam come out and kick the ball and done =.=
although the violinist nxt to him was hot :D :D
kar sing has polluted my innocent mind LOLL

Awana Kijal / Kota Bahru Trip 08 ( day 4 )

Saturday
hmm today woke up at around 8
today was free as in no plans....so i slept some more till 10
left the hotel for my aunt's house for breakfast

breakfast was nasi laut
it was nice but cannot be compared with the nasi dagang :P
since i was still quite tired i slept at my aunt's place
while my parents were helping my aunt and uncle fix the fax machine i had a nice sleep....maybe for an hour or so :D
my aunt got me a army pattern pants
yea i like army pattern things...can be like john cena LOLL
jst joking...that one is emily rite??? XD

after that we went sight-seeing around the town
visited some place that brought back memories to my dad such as his primary school , secondary school , his old house , his village and so on
speaking of which my dad's house got burn down T.T
dam sad....my dad almost cried
at least toke some pictures...maybe the nxt time we go there the house will be torn down =.=
den we headed to the Kelantan River
we went to the part of the river where my dad and his old friends used to play
also saw some floating houses :D

since there was digi-man everywhere....my dad bought the 1 year package for me
and i mean EVERYWHERE
it's like each street u see a yellow colored avanza we at least 5 ppl in yellow shirt , with lots of yellow balloons , and wit a big digi-man dummy
after buying the package...i now hav rm 308 worth of credit :D :D
they gave a few gives too such as a digi shoe back , digi cd case , popcorn , and a cap
my mum said after buying the package
"i have seen too much yellow color today" =.="

after that we went to the Pasar Borong nearby
wanted to buy souvenirs and other things
bought some key chains and bookmarks....bought ramli burger too ^^
den we went to the famous kopitiam place nearby called White House
i can see y they call it that cause the whole place was as u guess it - WHITE
wall white , floor white , tiles white , table white , chair white , plate spoon cup and fork white , the waiters and waitresses also dressed white
i 4got....even the waiter and waitresses skin was white!!! whiter den steam pao some more!! no offense :D

after that went back to the hotel
sleep till 6 den went to my uncle's place ( the pembuli )
i was SOO not looking forward to it at all
went there and ate dinner
the curry was nice i hav to admit
but besides that....i hate the talking =.="
jst kept playing the games on my phone
left at 9 cse wanted to go to the night market

night market bought alot of things ( and i had to carry them =.=" )
and since it was raining they put up some shelter which was plastic attached to a pole
so the ones which aren't properly straight will catch and hold up water and with a little wind will splash the the water on the floor
trust me....walking at that place was walking through a water land mine
one time 1 by 1 water falling onto the ground =.=

bought souvenirs for ppl :D
bought gasing , wau , caps and belts
i bought my baby couz a little army dress and skirt =.=
i wonder how will she look like in it

after that we went back to the hotel
couldn't wait tomorrow but also didn't want to sit in a car for 10 hours

Friday
today woke up at 9
went to aunt's house for breakfast
ate nasi dagang YUMM
it's a kelantan food so i'm not so sure alot of ppl will noe this =.=

after that we went to visit my grandmother's resting place
when we reached there....i couldn't believe it at 1st
there was like 1..2..3..11 stray dogs!!
looking at how skinny they were....i knew they were very hungry
so i wanted to give them some food but when my mum found out what i was planning to do she stopped me
poor dogs T.T

after that went back to my aunt's house to put our things den we left for lunch :P
after that we went to a wi fi cafe nearby cse my dad had to send some emails
speaking of which....didn't get to update blog at awana and kota bahru cause need to pay rm25 jst to hav internet access =.="
while we were there...we met my couz's bf
i don't really noe how to pronounce my couz chinese name cse u noe me - banana :D
so my couz dad is my dad's brother ( that's how i'm related )
so happens that we were going to visit my uncle on the very same day
so my cousin's bf arranged a dinner for tomorrow nite
after my dad had finish sending him email we left for the hotel at 2

my parents went for a walk around the hotel
i jst hibernated in the hotel room :D
it was such a nice environment to sleep in
woke up at 5
went to my dad's old friend's father's house =.=
apparently his name is Mr. Lee
his a 82 year old man
at 1st sight i taught it was 1 of those grandfathers hu jst keeps speaking chinese which i don't understand at all
when he spoke my mouth was wide open
he spoke fluent english!!!
i NEVER heard any 82 year old person speak such a fluent english
even better then keith's :D
when we were halfway talking....i felt something move on my feet
so i grab the thing n guess what??? it was one HUGE dust ball
i say around the size of your thumb =.=

after that we went to another of my dad's friend's house
two big bungalows nxt to each other , a super huge lawn....around the size of padang asam =.=
y two bungalows nxt to each other???
well cause it's two brothers living with each other
my dad's friend name is mr francis
i tell u....this guy can be the most holy person....and then the most horny person ( worst den kar sing :D )
first he talk abt playboys and playgirls etc.
den suddenly talking abt repentance and forgiveness
i was TRYING not to laugh at all man

after all the talking it was time to go
b4 we left , uncle francis showed me his 3 dogs
a golden retriever , a siberian huskey and a german shepherd
the siberian huskey was dam cute~~
sadly didn't take any photos of it...camera's battery died
he let out the german shepherd to run around the lawn
super fast man it run....mayb faster than usain bolt LOLL

reached back at the hotel at 7
showered , napped and off for dinner
went out with uncle francis to if i'm not mistaken a thai restaurant
food was AWESOME
*rating* - 7/10

after dinner went to my uncle's place which is in the middle of a jungle
I AIN'T JOKING ALLRIGHT!!!
i mean it...from the highway my cousin turned to a road that leads into a jungle
oh yea we needed my cousin to show the way since we don't noe how to get there =.=
so as i was saying
we were driving in the jungle for around 5 minutes when suddenly a big housing estate came into sight
the houses there were mostly semi d and bungalows but my uncle's was a terrace house ( sad T.T )

i met my other couz which is the older sister of the couz i met earlier
both of them were girls and they are like 20 years older then me =.=
the worst part which is everybody in that house was speaking hokkien ( i hate it the most )
at least my aunt was speaking cantonese
although i could understand partially only :D

i was praying to God for time to past by quickly
i tried many things to avoid talking with my aunt , uncle and cousins
sms wit keith and kar sing :P
at 11.40 only we left

Thursday
another example of Malaysians and their inpunctuality
suppose to leave at 9...in the end left at 10 =.=

so today gonna travel n sit in the cramp place of the car for 5 hours =.="
like i said b4...the journey ain't that bad when u have ur mp3 wit u XP
wht i hate is that it will be a one lane highway all the way....now that really sux ( especially when my dad's drving :P )
stopped at a shell petrol station 2 switch drivers
from den on it was seating on a ride of death
i noe i kept asking my dad to go faster and overtake....but my mum....that's a different story =.=

when my dad went to sleep....she drive like siao wan man!!!
i counted the times which is 5...the times we almost bang the car coming in the opposite direction when overtaking
seriously....like in a ride to death!!
the moment my dad woke up....drive safe already =.=

we arrived at Kota Bahru at around 4.30 or so
the hotel we stayed in was called Renaissance
dont worry if u don't noe how 2 pronounce it....cause it is a French word
even i can't pronounce it properly =.=
now this is the true 5 star hotel :D
but it was dam freaking coold~~
also the main switch not working =.=
can control most of the lights , the air con....not to mention the air con was set at blast and yet can't control it
after unpacking had shower left for my aunt's house

reached my aunt's house at around 7
her house has a badminton court ( how cool is that )
it is also the place where my aunt and uncle and their friends do lion dancing :P
both my aunt and uncle are talented musicians
my uncle plays piano by hearing and not by notes =.=
even though my aunt is 67....she can still sing and dance man!!!!
so 5 of us ( me , mum dad aunt uncle ) left for dinner after a long chat

dinner was at a nearby restaurant
food was DELICIOUS!!!
got toufoo , egg , fish , chicken hmmm wonder wht else??? oh ya not forgetting rice :D
after dinner we went to a MCA building
MCA stands for Malaysia Chinese Association....well now i noe
wht we did there??? listen to my aunt , uncle and their friends karaoke.....and all of the ppl present at that place were all old folks =.=
all looking at me oni

after their karaoke session my aunt and uncle brought us to a nearby mamak stall
had roti canai ^^
after our supper....we departed our ways
reached back at the hotel around 11

jst came back frm a 5 day 4 nite trip :P
it's also my 14th birthday today!!! yay me!!! ( 12.01 a.m , monday 25/08/08 ) :D
still so sad nid 2 do homework n blog =.=

Wednesday
woke up at 8.30
planned 2 leave at 9 o'clock
but as u noe malaysians and their inpunctuality....we left at 10

stop by at the McD in front of the genting entrance
mum ordered the meal which had the Olympic cup....but they ran out of stock
also there was a man selling honey...hu seriously couldn't shut his mouth up
he kept on saying
"mari mari honey sedap"
i tell u....i seriously wanted to go to that guy n slap him

hmm....seating in a car for 6 hours wasn't that bad....thanks to my mp3 :D
my dad let me borrow his headphone
let's hope someone will giv me a headphone for my birthday :P

we stopped by at a town called Chukai
went to a famous coffee shop which also had roti bakar
i tell u....the roti bakar there....110/100
dam nice....the bread was very crispy n the kaya was very very sweet =.=
got a picture of the roti bakar if i'm not mistaken
ordered a drink which i shouldn't had order
it was called "Lime Twister"
the WHOLE drink is made from lime....yea i mean WHOLE
saw the guy squeeze all the juice out
it was so so so so so sour i had 2 drink little sips at a time
took me a very long time jst 2 finish the drink

the coffee shop was open is 1948
the person hu opened the shop was there....
obviously as u guess he is a very old guy
he was staring at me all the time....dam scary man his face....like seeing dracula oni....cause his eyes were very red....bloody red
my dad talked wit him while my mum bought coffee beans from the stall
after talking my dad told my mum and i he was 95 years old =.="

b4 leaving Chukai....a building caught my attention
it was an old building....which i 100% am sure looked like Ipoh Parade
even the surrounding was alike
also....i saw a shop named
"Kedai Runcit Lee Chen" LOLL

after Chukai town it was a one lane highway all the way
i tell u....that highway is a place for cursing
i kept saying to my dad
"overtake overtake"
my dad's a freaking safe driver....jst like my bro
one time we got stuck behind a truck....we were traveling at 30 km/h
and all the cars behind us were overtaking n overtaking
at that time i wish i could drive cse i would hav overtaken that stupid lorry in jst a giffy

den we stop at a stall that sells all sorts of varieties of sotong
the shop is located jst by the highway
the worst part was the shop was located at the opposite direction =.="
imagine crossing a highway without a pedestrian bridge

reach Awana Kijal at around 5 p.m
the entrance was very nice...very very green
when we reached the lobby entranced...we saw a malay drum
4got what's the name but i hav the picture though
and at that time
I FINISH MY LIME TWISTER!!!
after a very very long time only did i manage to finish that FREAKING sour drink
it is 1 which i will NVR drink again
after drinking it my tongue was in much pain....it was also numb =.=
the building was so bigg

after unloading all the bags....got ready to go to the swimming pool n to the beach
it was SOO boring in the swimming pool
swimming alone ain't fun u noe
loneliness was one of the factor of y i was bored....another was i didn't bring any swimming equipments
yea sure ivan....pack in jst 5 minutes??? pack swimming suit no equipments
the bathing place was kinda funny....was 3...well donno how 2 describe it but i hav pictures so dont worry :P
i jst kept swimming frog style since my goggles were absent
tried swimming 1 lap of freestyle but eyes were very pain after that
so my eyes were painful looking underwater....so i tried closing my eyes and swim....and wht happen??? i banged my head onto the wall =.="
tis is a lesson to me - nvr AGAIN swim without goggles :D

after swimming it was off to the beach!!!
b4 i went to the beach i was filled wit anger cse of my dad's really slow driving
but the moment i saw the beach...all of that just *poof* away
it was the cleanest beach i had ever seen ( in malaysia )
the wind was cooling , the beach was clean , the sand was soft and the ocean's water was clear , cooling n refreshing....only thing missing is companionship
the sea's water wasn't that salty...and it doesn't mean i purposely drank it!!

the sand nearest to the swimming pool had alot of kocoon ( how to spell )
it was painful since i was barefooted
it was such a nice place....i would say it was paradise but wasn't 100% fun when u have such a nice place n nvr get to share it with someone

jst sit in the sea and enjoy the waves
almost went into the sea with my glasses
my bro , aaron went into the sea with his glasses....the next moment the sea had claim his glasses ( the waves drag it to sea :P )
after that i did wht i like 2 do ever since i was a baby
build sandcastles!!!
well at 1st it was suppose 2 b a sandcastle....but plans change and soon it was a shape of a mini swimming pool
so i had an idea n i made a wall around the big hole i made
the finished result - the bird nest stadium LOLL
jst joking....but it WAS in a shape of a stadium
after building the so called "bird nest stadium"....i wanted 2 make a so called "water cube" :D
but it was getting late n my stomach was begging to be fed

i tell u...awana may be a 5 star hotel....but they gave us the 2 star apartment
the toilet i can give is 0 star....water so slow pressure
even the water host 2 wash legs had higher pressure!!!
after showering and everything....walk to the hotel lobby in search for restaurants
finally we settled down on a chinese restaurant
food was ok ok....nothing special abt it but still was nice :P
it was a happy moment when i saw my uncle there
he is the funniest uncle u can ever get ( maybe the horniest too :D )
haven't seen him for quite awhile...since his always at the oil rig
talk wit him till 10 p.m
on the way back to the hotel room we saw a cafe which was showing Olympics.....at that time it was 200m men
that Usian Bolt is one hell of a runner

went back at 11
slept early at 11.30 cse tomorrow leaving 4 Kota Bahru
wish could stay another day for the beach....so i hav 2 wait 4 a long time b4 i can go back to that beach again
